Class pictures?

Every once in a while I'm inspired to take another class picture. I don't know how school photographers do it. I think I need a new header for the class blog and usher the kiddies outside, but it's mass chaos from there.
This year we were asked to do a school photo, so I clambered up onto the school roof and bellowed at people to move (and stop hiding, girls under the slide!)

I always get an annual "kids in the dandelions" pic. I know that to most people dandelions are weeds, but I like 'em in those annual photos.

It's always a struggle to keep them all looking at me, to stop hiding behind other people and to Stop. Picking. The. Dandelions!!! I think I ended up putting one of the following two pics on the header because I didn't succeed in getting everyone showing in the pic I preferred.

There's just so much other stuff to do when Miss J. is insisting on "look at me". There's tractors...

...and hey! dandelions to pick!

I liked this one. Minus mister red hiding behind Jessica. Oh well.

And then at last I let them go free and they couldn't wait to get away.

Wow. We had a lot of rain this spring eh? I'd forgotten how they didn't want to sit in the grass because they'd get their bottoms all wet.
