The iglu has been up and occupied for a while now, but it couldn't have been completed without the help of the grade 7 and 8 girls who made the boxes look more like blocks of snow. Thanks girls!
(and you're welcome for a week of staying inside during long cold lunch hour recesses :) )
Here the class is oh so intently watching a real iglu being constructed. It's pretty cool!

I tried to make do with using a few less blocks so I could save some for the (not yet completed) tunnel into the iglu. Not a good idea as it turned out. This less than stellar version didn't last until the next morning. Mind you, our school cleaners keep bumping into it which isn't great for a taped together building.
