After counting down to this day from the very first day of school, 100 Day was finally here! Grade Two, being the professionals at this day skipped in eagerly. Grade One seemed a little more apprehensive, especially about that dress up aspect. But that's not going to go away -- if I do 100 Day we're doing that dress up!
Here's our 100 Day song. Last year I had to change the lyrics to include my broken leg and changing it to 110 Day :P
We started the day together with just our classes. We exclaimed over each other's costumes and wrote down the 100 things that we brought to school. We also welcomed visitors to our classroom!
And then we helped each other count our 100 things.
Let's see how many groups do we get if we put our 100 things into groups of 5....
Yay for lego! It's easy to put lego into groups of 2!When they finished counting their 100 objects they set down to work on their 100 Day booklets. They're still working on their 100 Day booklets, but those dot-to-dots are almost all done now.
"There's a girl in the boys bathroom Miss J!!!" :)
