found on the laptop

I know I have more pictures on my computer at school that would fit the hodge podge nature of this post, but I'll have to add them later. These are just some assorted pictures that I found amusing or interesting.

Star of the Week! A couple shots anyway. Yes, there are more on my school computer :)

Marvin braving the cold weather at recess in his winter wear. Which looks a lot like sleepwear to me....

Marvin enjoys choir as much as we all do!

I know. You can't even see your kids' faces on here. But I get a unique view sitting beside the kids in choir and this year is extra special because choir class is conducted on our risers. Wow it makes our class even better! So I think it's cool to see their feet planted on the risers, water bottles resting nearby, toes tapping and bodies wiggling to the music.

Birthday boys with their birthday cake hat upon their noggins.

How cute is she?! It makes me want to send my cat off to be replaced by this fluffy little kitten.

But Jonah got to show her off to the class. I had to covet from a distance. And from behind the camera lens as usual :)

I still get a massive kick out of this. When the kids can go off to the back and play with any of the toys/games we've got back there and instead they sit in a chair and read a book...well be still my happy heart! :)

This was my welcome back after my bout with the flu. That was a nice way to return after not as pleasant stay at home.

I know I've got some wacky hair pictures at school. I'll post those shortly.

Greetings to grades 1&2 and their fearless leader!
I loved the colourful and ornate welcome back sign. Did your students make the flower power? That'd be some way to brighten anyone's day.
(apostrophe and "s", yikes!)

Greetings to our fearless choir leader! Or does she have some fear knowing our program doth rapidly approach?
It was a wonderfully flowery welcome back made by my students. They were so taught by their beloved substitute teacher Mrs. D.
And.
Sorry for striking the fear of the apostrophe into you. I'd like my own students to use them properly. It's so teacher-y of me isn't it?
