Wow. I should really scope out my computer. Here are tons of photos that were resting in the dusty nooks and corners of my hard drive.
This is a Grade One and Two classroom. There are stuffed pets aplenty coming to school everyday, but only Marvin gets a seat of honour with the rest of the class. The rest of them rest in their owners' cubbies and talk quietly amongst themselves until recess time reunites them all.
The pictures only get older from here: I don't think there are any toads hopping about the playground any longer, but earlier this year they have been found!
Ewww! It's a raccoon skull!
Way back when it was hot outside and a recess consisted of running around madly and then entering the school all hot and sweaty, it was then that these pictures were taken. I sat at my stool and looked upon this fellow, hair all askew, and I laughed.
Ok, the hair is too short to be much askew, but you can see how hot and sweaty he is eh?
And then started an epidemic of hair mussing and using sweat as a hair gel....
until this. Yes, sometimes we're more than a little goofy in class.
Wow. This was waaaaaaaaaaaay back! Back when we were learning about living and non-living things and we had some (non-human) living things visit the classroom. This is Matthew's bunny.
And this is all of us pouring through magazines to find living and non-living things for the posters that we were assembling.
And even more way back when (I told you these were found in the dusty corners of my computer) are these pictures of Dairy Cow Week. Here the kids are watching a very interesting presentation about dairy farming. And yes they're all dressed up. Another dress up day...that makes three so far this year right? Yes, so far! We do still have 100 day to come!
This was the highlight of the presentation. They all got to try and milk...Bessie? I forget the cow's name. Maybe your kids will know :)
Too funny. If only he knew what those long gloves were actually for!
Here we are: cows and cowboys!
Wow. There are leaves on the trees and everything!
