Wonderful Wednesdays

So our school theme this year is the fruits of the Spirit. This month we're focusing on Joy and in our journals we wrote about where we find joy. My teacher heart got all warm and fuzzy reading their entries. You really do have the coolest kids!
There's nothing like a country school to help out with the Farming unit: Look a plow!

And there's nothing like handwriting for a student to feel all grown up. It's kinda fun actually!

Wednesdays have quickly been dubbed Wonderful Wednesdays in Grade One and Two. We were eagerly anticipating October because that's when Choir again resumed. Much to the shock and utter horror of Grade Two, a certain Grade One student opined that choir would be boring. Took all of one class to disabuse him of that notion :)
Choir begins with a good stretching out.

Ahhhh. Choir hug.
See, we love it!

All eyes on our choir director! That's rule number one in choir class. They're pretty good at it eh?

"Clap your hands...shout to God with cries of joy." Psalm 47:1
I just love watching them in choir. How could I not take a bazillion pictures of them when they look like this?!

Wow, check out that choir posture!
