Play Day

I took lots of pictures this day, but for once most of them were not of Grade One! So this is what I've got.
Watching the team

We practised running long jump a lot. Who knew it was quite that hard? But see how she's checking to make sure her foot ends up on the board and isn't jumping a metre behind the board? Ah, practise makes perfect...or better anyway.
Good ol' Spider Web.
50 metre dash

Here's the Dr. Seussian One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish team.
Soccer baseball's terribly exciting when you get on base safely :)
Frisbee bowling, which is actually very difficult!
Also quite difficult was the Centipede, but hey, it's all teamwork! And if your team is working together you can really fly through this event.
But the highlight of the day is always the Wheel Relay Race. It's so much fun watching the school running by.
And it's so cute to see the Grade Ones running with their Grade Eight team members.
Awaiting the results, ok and enjoying the freezie.
