Mr. Soles comes to town...

How the kids were thrilled this day! Mr. Soles was IN OUR SCHOOL!!
And we got to try out some songs for the evening concert!

Very highly enthusiastic singing ensued for about a half hour. More enthusiastic singing was on tap for the evening.

LOL! This cracked me up. I had no idea in September that this little fella was such a ham. I know better now!

Run! -- the evening performance. What a riot!

The concert closer: Get On Board!

Miss J! LOVE that coverage of the Solmusic Tour...and how blessed we are at CCS to be part of his stage when he comes to town.
I believe strongly that the music of Mr. Soles is good stuff to grow by and have great affection for the student body of CCS (and in particular, grades 1&2) for the enthusiasm and joy they dispense to the community in these events.
Thanks also, for your positive reinforcement Miss J...what goes into the mind comes out in a life. Your "job" is both fearsome and beautiful and in my estimation -- you are raising the bar.

It certainly was a thrill for the kids to have Mr. Soles appear in the flesh before them. It was even more a thrill that they could participate in the concert (as the videos quite aptly describe).
And when they're belting out a song with everything that is in them, it's heartwarming to listen to what they're actually singing.
Thank you for introducing his music to our classroom Mrs. Twink!e :)

Some great little clips Miss J! At least I got a glimpse of the performance through your blog...I wasn't able to make the concert...we listen to his music in our class regularly. Many of my students attended the evening and raved about it the next day. I agree with Mrs Twink!e it is good stuff to grow by.
Thanks for sharing~
