I know. I take too many pictures

Well this is pretty much self-explanatory isn't it?

Oh those tricky homophones. Just what do you do with words that sound the same, but are spelled differently and mean different things? Well, we'll try just about anything to try and remember which meaning goes with which word. (and by the way, yes I can spell house. Just seeing if your kids can too)

Friday afternoon. Have you ever played Hungry, Hungry Hippos? I had. I thought what a fun game for a Friday or rainy day recess. Oh how wrong I was. I don't think I could have purchased a louder game, or one that incited more arguments. It's a rare day indeed when this game gets pulled out of the closet.

Math class. There's nothing like a partner and some cubes to help out with the answers.

Ol' Blizz has been on the loose a little more often lately. As much as I dislike the barnlike smell my classroom has now taken on, how can I resist...
...a group of kids who just love the stinky ol' thing?

Nothing like starting our new choir members young eh? Too bad I don't have a video of our newest member bopping along to the tunes.

Group hug 1!! I'm not going to tell you who's in the middle of that hug, but I bet it wouldn't be too hard to figure out.
Group hug 2. See, we'll miss ya if you go to Florida and we won't see you for a whole WEEK!
And Winterfest. Most of these are pulled off a web album of Winterfest pics that you'll get the address to later.
Skating! It's virtually impossible to get clear skating pictures. It's way too dark at the arena. Fortunately most Grade Ones go at a slow enough speed that they're not entirely blurry.

Part Two of Winterfest. Outdoor activities at school. I have to say my kids in hockey helmets were just about the cutest things ever.

Sledding here we come! I don't think any other class marched up and hurtled down as often as Grade One did.

Ok, this is just too funny. Check out the helmet!
