Book Week III

All my "tricks" for uploading a lot of pictures at the same time don't work anymore. That may have something to do with the delay in posting.
Maybe :)
The following pics are of the kids reading along to the book they received for Book Week. Every year the TD bank gives Grade One students in Canada a free book. So they think that I've got 26 Grade One students instead of 16...

Good ol' Book Character Day! I was at the hospital getting my pre-op done while all the kiddies came in that morning. That was a bit of a drag, but they sure looked great when I finally did get to see them!

And some individual shots:

Thanks for the pics again, Miss J.! I can tell you're thinking about all of your dear students during your holidays. Hope you're refreshed and almost ready to go back again...the Lord's blessings in 2010!

LOL. If I were a teacher in front of such a class of characters - I'd have to call it a day! It easily recalls the delight of dressing up and play acting....
I concur with Winnie the Pooh's lament to Christopher Robin: Why must we grow up at all? Thanks much for the visuals and the reminder to keep a young heart.
