Here we are practising our over hand throw. I'm determined to get my girls throwing properly by the time I get them again for the baseball team!
READY...

THROW!

One of our favourite activities is noodle tag. This is Everybody is It tag. You can tag anyone and they're caught and have to sit down. On the other hand, anyone else can come along and tap you with their noodle and you're back in the game. Sure makes you run!

We also play hospital tag. The green noodled people are the germs trying to make the students sick (caught) and the students with blue noodles are doctors healing people and putting them back in the game.

We're in trouble when the doctors get caught!

Ah Blizzard. Not in my good books this week. We let him wander the classroom for a bit. I thought he was hiding under my computer desk for some peace and quiet. Yeah. He was actually busily chewing my computer mouse cord in half.

Here we are playing math facts Around the World. If you're fast enough with your facts that you make it around the world (class) you get a turn being the teacher. And I get to play :)

Looks like it was a tie

We had Shadow the kitten come in on Friday for a class visit. She certainly was a cute little thing!

Shadow introduced herself very quickly to Blizzard. Blizzard was interested for a moment. And then was introduced to a clawed foot through the cage.

Robert Munsch isn't just a class fav!

I think they'd have been quite happy for Shadow to take over for me for the day.

Shadow did this a few times, seeking a quiet place to hide maybe?

Shadows first day at school must have been fun. Her first visit at home was the big wing back chair where she didn't move from till late evening. She was exausted! That's a first for this usally busy kitten.
wonderful!! those girls (and boys) will be the stars of the baseball team 6 or 7 years some now- i cant wait!! :) nothing like starting them young!!
