Although we do spend time after lunch reading, this week being book week we spent a few extra minutes Dropping Everything And Reading. We especially enjoyed having some guest readers come in to our class and read a few of their favourite books.
Friday was book character day.
Dress up days are always fun -- here we are in our costumes with our books. The kids looked GREAT! We went by our book character names all day. Or we tried to! :)
There. Never let it be said that I won't put myself in this blog! Of course, it is true you won't find very many pictures...
For Book Week the class received their own copy of Franklin in the Dark. Here we are showing off our copies and reading the book. This was also the story our student teacher told us a few weeks ago!
