Around the World

They ask to play this all the time. One way we practice our math facts is to play around the world. Sometimes they compete by telling me the answer in a certain amount of time. Another way is to play against each other, shouting out the answer first.

I think it is just so funny to watch: See them looking at the question and thinking of the answer...

See them shouting out the answer. Their sheer exuberance is very enjoyable for me to watch :)

And if you do go all the way around the world, ie. you go all around the classroom and get back to your own seat, you get to be the teacher and show the cards yourself.

While we were learning our doubles facts (1+1, 2+2 etc) we played around the world a lot. Here they are in action:

Cute Miss J! We've heard lots about 'around the world' but weren't really sure what it was. Love the enthusiasm!
Hope you're having a wonderful March Break!
